How difficult is it to E-Foil? 

With proper ground instruction and a progressive on-water curriculum, most people are able to get up above the water and truly foil on their first lesson! Being an electric powered board, it is significantly easier and more stable than a traditional hydrofoil board that requires body movement to propel the foil out of the water. You'll get it in no time!!

What should I bring to my lesson?

You should bring plenty of water, a bathing suit, sunscreen, and a positive attitude to your E-Foil lesson. Lake & Wake will have a supervised place for you to store the rest of your personal belongings while you are out on the water. 

The water in Lake Tahoe can tend to be pretty cold, even in the later summer months, so if you are adverse to cold weather, a wetsuit is highly recommended. LWA provides wetsuits and neoprene booties for an additional charge to keep you warm!

When should I arrive for my lesson?

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your lesson start time. This will ensure a prompt start so you can enjoy the maximum amount of time out on the water!

There is a paid parking lot on site, and ample parking on nearby streets if full.

We can be mobile too, for larger groups! Please give us a call at 530-651-3645 to set up a private group event.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

LWA requires you to provide a 48 hour cancellation notice to receive a full refund if you have pre-booked your appointment.

If you need to cancel your reservation within 48 hours of your scheduled start time, LWA will allow you to reschedule your appointment at the same rate, but will not provide a refund. Apologies for any inconvenience, yet we need to be able to re-fill your slot.

If you have pre-booked a reservation and arrive more than 15 minutes after the designated start time, you will be considered a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund. A reschedule might be possible, on the discretion of LWA.

If LWA has to cancel a pre-booked reservation for any reason, including inclement weather and water conditions, you will be eligible for a credit only to re-book your appointment. We will make every possible effort to not cancel a reservation.
